Colorado Critters & Adventures: Kids Edition

About this book

Meet the bears, moose, foxes and raccoons that live in Colorado's mountains. Watch the trains roll along the river, soak in a hot spring, follow a rainbow over the aspens and go hiking with a very good dog.

Every picture is inspired by a real photo taken in Colorado, most of them just a few miles from Archie's house. The raccoons really did climb the trees by the deck, and the squirrels really did find the Halloween pumpkins. The book also has a "This Book Belongs To" page and a page for testing your colors.

A good fit for kids who like animals more than anything. Bears, moose and foxes are here, and so are a freight train, a helicopter and a pair of pack burros. Every page has a short fact, so it also works as something to read together.
