Archie's Adventures / Privacy
Privacy notice
This notice explains what the Archie's Adventures website (www.archiedawg.com) collects when you visit. Last updated .
What we collect
The site has no accounts, comment boxes, sign-up forms, newsletter or checkout, and we don't ask you for your name or email address. Books are bought on Amazon, not here.
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. When you visit, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, your approximate location (country or city) and your IP address. Google processes this data for us under its own privacy policy. We use it only to understand and improve the site. Google Analytics only runs if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, it isn't loaded and sets no cookies.
Free coloring pages
The coloring tool runs entirely in your browser. What you color is never uploaded, and we don't see it or save it.
Your region choice
If you switch between the United States and United Kingdom versions of the site, your browser remembers the choice in its own local storage. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like any web host, it processes standard request data, such as your IP address, in order to send you the pages.
Links to other sites
Buttons that say "Buy on Amazon" take you to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy. We don't control what other sites collect.
Your choices
- You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- If you are in the UK or EU, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how it's used. You can also complain to your data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
Some of the books are for children, but this website is written for parents and other adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
